My New Daily Driver

I got this bike looking how I want it for now. I've been riding it to work every day and beating the shit out of it along the way.

Finally moving

My long time friend and now brother in law Chris has just about finished his Ironhead.

This bike has been sort of a slow moving project but it's been worth the wait. This is definitely my favorite IH and I wish I would have built my '69 this way and kept it! Nice job chris!

Gil had to come out and see for himself and of course we all stood around comparing these guys bikes. Tall guy, short bike. Short guy, tall bike. HAHAHA
Chris came up with this pipe design and really followed through. Clean lines perfect execution.

This IH project started when Chris's doberman Max was just a pup, look at him now! Killer dog, killer bike.

Oh ya and Happy Birthday Chris!!

Almost looks like somethin

Heres a few pics of the shovel that I'm slowly putting together, hopefully only a few more weeks and it'll be running.

British Bike

This lady loves to ride her British made "Hercules" bike. It has awesome skinny fenders! She looks super hot on it. She's making a little girl for me right now in that super cute baby belly!

ONE PIECE AT A TIME

Work on the shovel has been pretty slow but I guess I'll get there eventually. I feel like I've spent a ton of money on small stuff. I got this bike in milk crates and pretty much only got the major parts were there so I've had to buy all the little spacers and keepers and special nuts and seals and springs and gaskets! Thanks to Justin for helping me out so much on the small stuff also otherwise I'd really be spending big bucks!

Distance

I've been making some space in my life, putting some distance between myself and certain people/things. The "winds of change" are about to blow my ass over and I'm doing every thing I can to stay on top of my life right now.

I'm going to be selling my '58 fairlane and my '62 Corvair Van to focus on my '64 C-10 pickup and the finish work on my shovelhead. I think I'm also gonna let my BSA project go and the Ironhead that I just procured in the hopes of building a little drag bike. I've got too damn many irons in the fire and I'm tired of it! Working on six projects a little bit at a time gets me no where closer to having any of them finished. It's time to let them go on to other garage builder types who might actually make something happen.

This is me and the wife on the beach in Jamaica last year, I wish I was there right now! Instead I'm headed back to New Mexico again for some middle of nowhere plumbing work.

Narrow Springer + Narrow Glide disc setup = Love

Thanks Justin for hookin me up! Super narrow paughco springer, clover hub 21" wheel, and chrome caliper. The shovel is on it's way to seeing some spring time riding!

Is the disc old school enough? Who cares! I'm building this bike to be a long haul runner and a good daily ride, a big part of that for me is stopping power . I'm having trouble sleeping at night going through all of the things I need to do to get this thing going. Soon very soon.

New Mexico is getting pretty damn old!

Been building a new port of entry in Antelope Wells New Mexico. Look it up it's in the middle of nowhere and an hour and a half to the closest town with supplies. The view couldn't be better though it's a beautiful part of our great country.

It's cold as hell here! Less than 20 degrees every morning! May not sound that cold to some people but I've lived in south Texas my whole life, only seen temps less than 20 a couple times.
